When it comes to making an embroidery journal, you’ll stitch a daily icon that will somehow represent your day. Whether this be something you did during your day, somewhere you went, how you felt, etc. It can truly be anything that your mind comes up with. Over the course of a year, you will have amassed a collection of 365 icons, together representing your year. This newly updated 22-page guide will take you through the process of creating your own embroidery journal.
COVERS: supplies, how to set up your journal, tracking your days, designing icons, spacing out your icons, how to keep yourself motivated, how to clean your journal, AND 84 icons. This guide also includes a general embroidery journal template, which is used in setting up your journal and can be used every year. This guide does not teach you how to embroider.
ABOUT THE DAILY TRACKER PDF:
– Each month has two devoted pages; one to write down what you did each day and the other to draw a sketch of your daily icon. Over the course of the year, you’ll also be able to reflect using the check in pages and learn a few tips & tricks.
ABOUT THE 126 ICONS + 2025 EMBROIDERY JOURNAL TEMPLATE PDF:
It includes a 2025 embroidery journal template, brief instructions on how to transfer the pattern to your fabric, and 126 icons that I designed myself (most of which have appeared on my own embroidery journals over the years). They cover a wide range of icons including life events, seaside themes, travel, medicine, hobbies, furniture, and more!
